Programme Brief

YSEALI Game Changers brought together 75 participants from all over Southeast Asia to empower game creators with leadership experience and the potential to drive impact to produce socially conscious games as an innovative solution to address pressing challenges in the region. The program culminated in a four-day in-person workshop and game jam in Kuala Lumpur, offering YSEALI participants the opportunity to explore important social issues, learn from industry experts, connect with like-minded individuals, and gain cross-cultural perspectives by participating in training, mentorship, and networking. At the end of the in-person program, three top teams were awarded seed funding and a three-month mentorship to further develop their game ideas to completion for outreach to the public.
