Digital Skills and the Gig Economy Employability

Project Type
Social Innovation

Programme Brief

The rise of the Gig Economy in the modern labor market has created a new group of workers, including part-timers, freelancers, and those who fully make a living within this new and flexible economy. Managing a freelancing profile or an on-demand career may present challenges to beginners in the gig economy. To address this, our program provides the necessary tools and knowledge to build a sustainable career in this evolving landscape. This initiative is aimed at the nation’s youth, including graduates and undergraduates, who are looking to kickstart their gig careers and achieve self-sufficiency.

The Digital Connectivity Program supports unemployed youths and graduates interested in building a sustainable gig career in today’s economy. Our program is designed to equip graduates with the skills and resources needed to thrive in the gig economy, guiding them on their career path and facilitating professional growth and development. The program has already benefited 500 fresh graduates from low-income households, with diverse academic backgrounds, providing them with specific topics related to building a career and achieving self-sufficiency in the gig economy.
