This program aims to train promising Malaysian youths in game development, focusing specifically on creating ‘games with a social message’. The training will consist of a series of webinars targeting 300 youths, from which 15-20 teams (up to 60 youths in total) will be selected to participate in a 4-Day Next Level Game Masterclass & Game Pitch. At the end of the masterclass, micro-grants will be awarded to the Top 3 game pitches, enabling them to be developed to completion. Overall, the program empowers participants by enhancing their game design skills, providing networking opportunities, and fostering civic engagement with issues of social importance.
