Microsoft Skills For Jobs – Indonesia

Programme Brief

A nationwide series of in class learning, online learning provided by Microsoft content and Biji-biji on various Learning platform (LMS). We will be utilizing the different avenues on such as LinkedIn, Biji-biji, Kartuprakerja and other impact partners to gain a total of 1,000,000 Indonesian youth upskilled.

Programme Background

1. COVID-19 has created a global health crisis and economic crisis, putting tens of millions of people out of work. On top of globalization and automation, the most vulnerable now must deal with the impact of losing their jobs or businesses due to COVID. Some jobs lost may not come back, or not fast enough to meet demand.
2. Labor Force Participation Rate in Indonesia increased to 69.06 percent in 2022 from 68.08 percent in 2021
3. There is no clear path in connecting people to jobs
