Job Description

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
  • Work alongside the Group marketing team to support project managers in their project strategy for new & existing clients
  • Conceptualize, ideate, and manage marketing and demand generation integrated marketing strategy – from creative asset development to set-up and execution across multiple marketing channels, and analysis of key metrics.
  • Overseeing and coordinating marketing efforts across all channels, including online and offline marketing, digital assets and brand standards, CRM, social media, and traditional PR campaigns.
  • Able to make quick, business-savvy decisions based on data, trends, and statistics analysis in order to manage and meet client deliverables.
  • Cross marketing channel coordination with other departments to implement end-to-end marketing initiatives
  • Being a fantastic representative of the Mereka brand and successfully conveying organization principles to both internal and external stakeholders

Job Requirements

  • Marketing fanatics with around 2-year experience with demonstrable success and results. Prior agency experience is a plus;
  • A believer in 21st-century education and desire to make a change.
  • A driven self-starter with urgency and the ability to work pro-actively;
  • Strong, versatile copywriting and proofreading skills in English and Malay are a must (Additional language abilities such as Mandarin and Tamil will be an asset)
  • Awesome design skills to produce creatives for internal and external communication.
  • A desire to experiment (cost-effectively!) and the ability to make quick adjustments to changing conditions
  • Good understanding of performance and digital marketing across all platforms (FB, IG, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc)
  • Enthusiastic, confident, and sociable; excellent communication and people skills and is also Intellectually curious and unafraid to challenge the status quo;
