Rashvin Pal Singh

Group CEO

Rashvin Pal Singh has more than 11 years of experience in sustainability and social entrepreneurship. He has spearheaded impactful initiatives focusing on youth empowerment and the circular economy. One of his notable achievements is raising RM 5.1 million in revenue within the first four years of Biji-biji Initiative’s operations.

Rashvin is the group CEO of Biji-Biji Initiative and Me.reka, centering on sustainability, technology, education, and innovation. With his perseverance, he established the social enterprise to support the growth of start-ups.

Selected for the Obama Foundation Leadership Program in the Asia-Pacific in 2019, Rashvin expanded his global perspective on leadership and sustainability. Combining his corporate background with his commitment to social entrepreneurship, Rashvin always drives his vision with practical solutions and viable novelties. His love of design and art, along with his passion for ethical fashion, drives his commitment to creative innovation. Always forward-thinking, Rashvin blends professionalism with meaningful connections to inspire change.

With a background in psychology from the University of Bedfordshire and over a decade of experience, Juliana Adam excels at turning big ideas into actionable solutions. Her work has been recognised through accolades, including being named one of Prestige Malaysia’s Top 40 under 40.


As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Biji-biji Initiative, she has pioneered efforts to secure RM 1.6 million in funding and build strategic partnerships that drive meaningful impact in sustainability and innovation. Known for her organisational skills and problem-solving abilities, Juliana is a relentless mastermind, especially when she works on projects addressing environmental and social challenges.



Juliana is an Acumen Malaysia Fellow and a mentor for the Rebound Career Comeback Programme, actively supporting community empowerment through collaborative initiatives. An advocate for sustainability, Juliana believes in using community-driven action to tackle environmental issues and shape a stronger, eco-friendly future. Other than all things green, Juliana loves to do arts and crafts: creating earrings with polymer clay and painting with watercolour.

Through an illustrious career spanning over 18 years, Nalindra Pelekai excels at transforming strategic visions into impactful programmes. Known for her meticulous planning and leadership, Nalindra consistently creates purposeful project designs, manages effective financial resources, and executes high-quality implementations.



At Biji-biji Initiative, Nalindra’s dedication to innovation elevates digital literacy, green technology, and governance on a global level. Her flawless mantra is connection and perfection, ensuring every project endures fruitful results that lead to meaningful progress and long-lasting change.



Nalindra is passionate about advocating for women’s rights. As President of the Board for Girls Can Lead, she actively enhances community engagement and encourages inclusive decision-making processes. Her mission is to build a stronger ecosystem for women’s participation in leadership. In her spare time, Nalindra enjoys swimming and soaking up the sun at the beach.

As a Programme Director at Biji-biji Initiative, Debra Chia adeptly develops strategies that align with the organisation’s goal of promoting accessible education. Through detailed market analysis, she ensures that initiatives support long-term objectives like digital literacy expansion.


Although her background is in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Debra’s expertise has evolved toward process optimisation and Human Resource. With proficiency in HR cloud technologies like SAP SuccessFactors and Workday, she drives operational efficiency.

Yumi Chia

Yumi Chia is a dynamic green advocate with a proven track record in leading purposeful projects. With a background in sustainable development and a Master’s in Environment from Universiti Putra Malaysia, she has managed everything from environmental programmes to grassroots conservation efforts.

Yumi’s experience spans working with indigenous communities, designing marine conservation programmes, and captaining capacity-building workshops. Dedicated to preserving marine habitats, Yumi has worked with Shark Savers Malaysia, the Turtle Conservation Society of Malaysia, and UNDP’s All Light Project.

Aishah Chong started her career as an independent event curator in Kuching, Sarawak, focusing on empowering grassroots artists. She later created signature events such as Pasar Antara Bangsa and Pasar Orang Kita before moving to a creative agency where she honed her media creation, branding, and advertising skills. With a degree in Communication and Media Studies from UiTM Shah Alam,

 Aishah has a strong foundation that has enabled her to navigate the intersection of media and social impact work from the start of her career.

From converting ideas into fruitful environmental projects, Izzati Taqiah is dynamic, flexible, and driven. With a background in English Professional Communication from UiTM Shah Alam, Izzati sharpened her mastery in strategic planning, team management, and project coordination.



With her five years of experience in the culinary industry, Izzati brings a fresh perspective to the team, foregrounding open communication and practical cooperation. Izzati successfully leads environmental initiatives, overseeing over 30 organisations through Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) procedures alongside the internal and external teams.
