Collective Impact Program – Series 1

3 min read

Bandar Sunway, 17 December 2022 – As the implementation partner for Microsoft Malaysia, the Biji-biji Initiative successfully organised a Collective Impact Workshop aimed to upskill the underserved communities.

More than 20 individuals of different physical abilities participated in the two-day workshop coached by the trainer, Rahul Thomas. Since many of the participants were youths in their early 20s and equipped with basic digital skills, the workshop focused more on intermediate level learning of Microsoft ecosystem. This could help enhance their hireability even further and contribute towards Microsoft’s Malaysia’s goal to upskill 50,000 Malaysians before the third quarter of 2023.

The workshop was made possible thanks to the Beautiful Gate Foundation that connected the Biji-biji Initiative to the participants who would benefit tremendously from this upskilling program.

With the high-tech learning equipment and comfortable facilities provided by Sunway University as the workshop venue sponsor, everything went well and smoothly.
